At Qalla Superfoods, we believe the best ideas are born from friendship and passion. We’re Marcelo, Ignacio, and José Ignacio — three friends who discovered in Peruvian superfoods an amazing way to share the best of our country with the world. We started with maca, lucuma, and camu camu powder not only because of their nutritional benefits, but also because they’re super versatile and easy to enjoy in everyday life.
The name Qalla comes from Quechua and is linked to the idea of “beginnings” or “new starts.” We chose it because this project is exactly that for us: a fresh beginning toward a healthier, more vibrant, and more natural lifestyle. We also loved the idea of bringing these supplements into the wellness world, where more and more people are looking for authentic, tasty, and nutritious options.
Today, you can find us in local markets across Peru — Lima, Arequipa, Trujillo, and Ica. And this is just the beginning, we’re growing with the dream of sharing Peruvian superfoods with more people and more corners of the world.
